First-class protection
of valuable electronics against overvoltage damages.
Brennenstuhl is expanding its overvoltage protection
programme on the high end.
Overvoltage refers to any current that briefly rises
above the threshold value of the networks current.
Without effective protection, overvoltages destroy the
sensitive electronic elements in connected devices.
These overvoltages can be caused by switch pulses from
electric devices, indirect lightning strikes, or circuit
noise. With its new "premium protect line," brennenstuhl
has developed a complete, finely gradated programme for
maximum protection of high-quality devices.
The individual, variable high-performance modules
have been combined into the programme so as to guarantee
perfect overvoltage solutions for every electronic
configuration. There are suitable solutions for high-end
computers, costly telephone equipment, or powerful
entertainment electronics. Connected devices are
protected from disruptions in the power mains with a sum
of grounding currents from 45,000 amperes up to an
extreme of 120,000 amperes. The programme includes power
strips with four to ten shielded mains outputs, which
can handle up to a total of 16 A. All dangerous
disruptions that threaten devices over the telephone,
ISDN, or antenna cables are captured. All necessary
cables are included as well. A master/slave system for
centralised power on/off for multiple slave devices is
also part of the programme, as is an integrated filter
for first-class protection against high-frequency
disruptions. brennenstuhl engineers have thought of
everything, with a competent solution for every need.
The premium protect line has a sturdy anodised
aluminium casing that stands out for its stability and
style.
